Yes, I lurk Geometry Dash just like the rest of you fine fellas. Nothing makes me happier than seeing talented GD creators reimagining my music and making awesome levels out of them. This season, "Heat" seemed to be a big hit in the GD community in particular. Let's take a look at the featured level for Spring 2025:

Not that anyone on SoundCloud really cares, but still.

Recently, SoundCloud quietly updated their TOS such that use of the platform authorizes your music to be used to train unspecified AI models. They did this with no press coverage, no announcements, and shadily tried to slide it all past us and hope we didn't notice. I'm not super educated on this, but I'll link the article I learned it from below.

This is so wrong and obnoxious for a number of reasons. First, I detest AI and I especially loathe it in the music industry. I spend my time creating quality human content that is a reflection of my soul, and my emotions. I do not intend for my music (always a deeply personal thing) to get churned up and sloppified by a glorified average machine. Second, the way SoundCloud went about this is the most treacherous and despicable thing I've ever seen. AI is making companies do such retarded things, and clearly SoundCloud had to hop on the trend, by shoving AI down our throats, assuming us dumb humans wouldn't notice. They clearly don't understand that without increasing amounts of high-quality human-made data, the AI models will grind to a halt.

Word on the street is that some researchers have come up with a way to pollute audio inaudibly such that humans hear no difference, but AI models will create unusable content if trained on audio that has been processed as such. I will of course be using this on all future OHK2 releases. I believe they plan on releasing it, or presenting it, this month. I will link their website here also.

Anyway, that's about it! Sorry for the rant. This is why I like Newgrounds:

1. You people are the best! You listen to my music and are super positive; you inspire me to keep going.
2. Newgrounds stands very firmly against AI, which is something I and my music am very grateful for.
3. Newgrounds is a symbol of an internet that was largely nascent, and untarnished by the scum that inhabits it today.

Also my new release, "Heat", a collaboration with techno whiz the Prophet Echo, was officially released today, but I forgot to set it as a preorder to Newgrounds. Sorry about that! I'll have it come out next Friday, but in the meantime you can always check it out elsewhere!

All of my music has been re-uploaded! I'm still ironing out some small details, but you should find everything just as it was before. All previously released tracks are once again available on Spotify, Apple Music, and pretty much everywhere else. I did consolidate four singles ("Pockets", "Someone Like You", "Struggling", "Away From Me") into an EP, which I titled "for a moment". New organization, same great songs.

Hello, Newgrounds!

It's been a minute since I last posted anything on here! Well, the wait is over. I'm positive that all the clout I amassed over the release of Near Apocalypse or Colors EP has surely died out, and everyone has forgotten about me. Have no fear, I am about to shove my way back into Newgrounds life…and the next few releases won't be as easy to forget ;)

I am changing my catalog, so expect some weird things going on everywhere except Newgrounds and SoundCloud. I will also be changing the names of some of my songs and/or updating album artwork to reflect my overhauls. Afterwards, everything will proceed smoothly just as before…and man, I have some stuff I have been sitting on!

I politely ask everybody to stay tuned, because more OHK2 beats are coming your way in the near future…so buckle up!

Apologies for the clickbait title, but don't hate the players, hate the game.

The title isn't entirely untrue. I might switch to a different distributor in the near future, in which case there may be a temporary unavailability of my catalog on platforms like Apple Music, Spotify, and the like. This should only persist for a few days.

I also wanted to mention a big upcoming project I want to start working on in earnest…

Two years, two EPs, and a boatload of singles into my music career, it's possibly time to start working on a debut album, something substantially long that is a work in and of itself, not just a compilation of singles like Entropy and Near Apocalypse. It's possible that this won't be heard for a few years (possibly 2026 or later) due to the large backlog of tracks I still need to release, of which I have discussed at length in previous blogs. I know that the hype surrounding my discography is negligible, but it's still fun to work on things. I do this for the love of the game, as always.

Didn't really have much to say, but I also wanted to rekindle what little interest I can in Colors EP, my latest (and greatest so far) release, which I encourage you to check out below:

Sorry I'm late for the quarterly recap, but I scarcely even noticed that Winter had passed and Spring had begun. Truly it's sprung around here, it's heating up quite a bit.

As an artist, and as a person, I'm excited for this year. I have an immense backlog of tracks dating back to mid-2023 (Entropy era) that I'm looking forward to releasing in the coming months. I'll talk more about that after I disclose the following rundown of the last three months:

Yes, I am on Geometry Dash. Big thank you to all the creators who have used my songs in their exceptional work, I can't wait to see more of it. This season we saw a big surge in the amount of levels using OHK2 music, particularly tracks from Near Apocalypse. After playing nearly all of them, here's my featured level for Winter 2024:

It plays like a Geometry Dash World level, and there are some cool particles and 2.2 effects. The gameplay is on point, and I'll take that over overcomplicated deco anytime.

Coming up is Spring 2025. There are a lot of tracks I want to release, so here's my tentative game-plan for the coming months:

1. I'll release a B-side featuring two unreleased singles, which should happen soon.
2. There are two EP's, horizondoommorning and its sequel horizondoommorning ii, which I want to release this year. I'm trying to get record label support for these albums due to stupid issues with my current distributor, but that remains to be sorted out.
3. There's another EP which I've teased before, Say Less, that I want to release later on. Depending on how I release that and additional singles, it may end up being an album.

I can't anticipate everything, so we'll see where all of that leads. In the meantime, I cannot thank you enough for your continued support here on Newgrounds. You all inspire me to keep sharing my music, because It's a real joy to be able to express things in a way that few other media can.

Hello Newgrounds!

I just made Colors EP available in Geometry Dash. For those who wondered why I didn't do this initially, it was because I wanted to direct attention toward the five songs rather than anything else, especially with the release schedule. But, due in part to mostly positive acclaim from all of you, it's now time to let you guys have fun with it! I've seen the levels you've made with my other tracks…I know great things are on their way.

Also, I saw the announcement about the Newgrounds documentary, with a mention of commissioning a soundtrack. I only know this: out of all creative platforms on the internet, only Newgrounds has shown me any love, and I'm deeply appreciative of the community and the management for giving me a chance. If I could give back by being a part of this project in any capacity, that would be a dream come true. With your help and support in sharing my music as much as possible, it just might happen.
