I joined Newgrounds as an audio artist on September 1 2024. Between then and now, I have published my debut EP/LP ENTROPY to the platform; eight tracks in all, mostly futuristic house and dance music.

I had absolutely zero clout or listeners prior to Newgrounds. Don't believe me? My recently-released album Near Apocalypse has received literally zero views on Spotify, to this day.

So you see, my expectations were very low. I had absolutely no idea what was in store for me here…

Three front-page listings for "Streetlights", "Last Night", and "Memory". Insane! I got scouted by Tom Fulp, my news was featured on the Newgrounds homepage, my music was featured on the Newgrounds homepage, and I received more listens and support than I have in my entire career. "Streetlights" alone, my seeming best hit off of ENTROPY, racked up more streams here on Newgrounds than all my tracks on all other platforms, combined.

I am eternally grateful to everyone who brought me here. You made coming to Newgrounds worth it, and far more fulfilling than I ever could've hoped. I hope that I have brought you some joy with my music, as I do it for the joy of hearing a good tune, and I hope to share the love.

Thank you so much for everything you've done for ENTROPY. We are just getting this party started…

Even though I haven't even finished posting ENTROPY on Newgrounds yet ("Memory" and "Baby You Know" are still on the way), I have received tons of support for this album, two front-page postings, and now I have been officially inducted into the Audio Portal!

"Streetlights" and "Last Night", ENTROPY tracks 1 and 6, have both been featured on the front-page now. It is such an amazing feeling, and thank you for everyone who supported me, especially phenorax and Pomarzi for their incredible support so far.

As a scouted artist, we are one step closer to Geometry Dash! Let's keep hoping and praying that falls through, but in the meantime, you know I'll just be here putting out some more tunes.

By the way…if you like my stuff so much and want to hear more (or just want to know if I've really only made six tracks), I have been releasing music since last year, and it's all available on my SoundCloud and elsewhere. Check the links in my profile for more information.

Thank you for everyone who took time to support me. My last news post was featured on the front-page, so thanks for that as well.

I've decided to batch-release all ENTROPY singles at once, for a couple of reasons:

1. It gives all of you a more complete look at my discography (though to be fair, I have far more music posted on other platforms like Spotify - go check it out!).
2. It allows me the opportunity to get scouted (you have to have four tracks released to be eligible). If I get scouted, my music will be available in Geometry Dash - which is the real goal here.

Please be sure to check out all my tracks from ENTROPY, even if none of them get front-paged. Also feel free to use my songs for anything, including your own projects of any kind. Just make sure you share them with me so I can see them!

Update: Apparently scouting is only step 1 to getting music on GD. A GD Elder Moderator has to whitelist my profile first. I suppose there's only one solution for that…please vote, listen, share, and hopefully it comes to one of the big cheese's attention.

hi, it's OHK2...

I don't know what really counts as "success" around here, but…my track "Streetlights" got front-paged within hours, and received thousands of listens, and tons of support, over today and yesterday.

I've NEVER been on the platform before. If my metrics were any indication, I was super unpopular prior to coming onto Newgrounds; but yet my song actually got some clout; whaddya know.

Thank you very much to everyone who took the time to rate, listen to, and share my track "Streetlights". Hopefully I get scouted, because I'd really love to see my stuff on GD.

I'll release my next single "Digital" sometime this week…I really hope you all stay tuned for that one, because it's one of my favorites, and if I wanted any song to do well, it's that one.
